Option 1
- We recommend installations to be done by a specialist vehicle tracker installer or auto electrician.
- Installations done by our preferred installers carry a one year warranty.
- Our installations in Cape Town and surrounds are mostly done by our contractor Outsourced Automotive Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
- They offer a mobile service and in most cases can assist with urgent installations on the day.
- When buying your device from us, you don’t have to pay Outsourced Automotive Solutions (Pty) Ltd for the installation. The installation cost are included in our selling price.
Option 2
- If you wish to install the tracker yourself, remember that our 1 year warranty does not cover damaged or blown units due to incorrect installations, water or fire damage.
- We could courier the pre-programmed device to you and you could get an auto electrician to do the fitment for you. Once the device is installed and connected to the vehicle, it should report to the tracking platform. The client is responsible for the courier costs. The installation fee would be discounted from the unit price.

INSTALLATION
A typical installation with immobilization feature takes between1 and 2 hours but is dependent on vehicle type, make and model. We recommend that you have the device installed by a qualified technician/fitment centre or make use of our preferred mobile technicians.
ELIMINATE SPEEDING
Excessive speeding and braking is dangerous driving behaviour and wastes fuel. Even going just a few kilometres per hour over the speed limit can adversely affect fuel efficiency. GPS tracking platforms will allow you to analyze inappropriate speeding and send automatic real-time alerts to track and correct this behaviour.
Payment Options
Once we have received an order our accounts department would process it and forward the client an invoice. The client can then pay via EFT directly to our bank account (details would reflect at the bottom of the invoice) and email us proof of payment to accounts@trackingsa.co.za Use your invoice number as reference. After payment confirmation is received, we will dispatch your order or arrange for installation. In cases where the client prefer a cash payment, the client can pay the installation agent the full amount. An invoice would be generated once the agent paid the money to our account and we have all the installation details.Safety Tips
Unfortunately, the rate of car theft in South Africa is rife and, even with a GPS tracker installed, there is no way you can guarantee that your car will not be stolen. Here are a few tips to help you improve your safety on South African roads.
1. LOCK UP
Always lock your doors when driving and keep valuables out of sight. If your window must be open, make sure it isn’t wide enough for a hand to fit through.
2. SPACE OUT
Make sure there is enough space between your car and the car in front of you at a traffic light or stop street. You need to be able to see the rear tyres of the car in front of you to have enough space to drive off if necessary.
3. BE VIGILANT
Be aware of loiterers or anyone approaching your car at a traffic light, stop street or in your driveway. If you feel unsafe, drive away.
4. PARK SAFE
Always park your vehicle in a secure spot – parking garages or areas with a closed-circuit camera – and never leave any valuables in the car.
5. AVOID THE JAM
Car jamming is a real thing. Make sure your car is locked once parked by testing your doors. Car thieves can jam your alarm system and disappear with your car within minutes.
